Bespoke service
We move your family in.
Once the decision is made, the work is logistical. We run the relocation end-to-end so the parent arrives to a working apartment, a registered visa, a tested hospital route, a vetted helper, and a family that knows what happens next.
The short version
You stay in Sydney, Toronto, San Francisco, or London. We are in China. Eight to twelve weeks after we begin, your parent is settled in a vetted apartment, with visa, hospital file, helper, banking, and a named local contact. You are looped in by weekly call.
Who this is for
Families who have done the thinking, read the wiki, taken the quiz, perhaps requested a Feasibility Report, and now want execution they can trust. Most clients are adult children in their forties and fifties, helping one or both parents return to China after twenty to forty years overseas.
How it works
- 1
Discovery call
One hour. We listen, you ask. No charge, no commitment.
- 2
Family intake
Structured interview, health, money, family geography, paperwork, parent preferences. Conducted by WhatsApp, WeChat, email, or video. Two to four hours total, split across sessions.
- 3
Plan and quote
We come back with a written plan, named destinations, a milestone timeline, and a fixed-scope fee. You decide.
- 4
Scouting tour
On the ground in China for three to seven days. Either you, your parent, or both travel, we host. Apartments viewed, hospitals visited, helpers interviewed, neighbourhoods walked.
- 5
Sign and move
Lease signed. Visa application filed (or PR pathway opened). Bank account, payment apps, SIM, hospital file, helper placement. Apartment furnished if requested.
- 6
Landing week
We meet the parent at the airport. Accommodation registration, first hospital visit, first helper shift, first market run.
- 7
Family handover
Written handover binder. Named local contacts for medical, household, family escalation. Weekly check-ins continue for the first 90 days.

What you handle
The decisions only the family can make. Which parent moves and when. Whether to rent or buy. Budget. Family communication. Permission to share medical history with our team. Personal preferences on city, neighborhood, and helper.
We do not handle: legal advice, tax filing, medical diagnosis or treatment, investment advice, or insurance underwriting. We work alongside your professionals or introduce ours.
Pricing
Every relocation is scoped to the family. We do not publish a number because the right answer depends on city, parent independence, urgency, household contents, paperwork complexity, and whether one or two parents move. We quote a fixed-scope fee after intake; no surprise add-ons.
Our economics: we are paid by the family for advisory and coordination, and disclosed introducer fees from vetted real-estate agents on property transactions. We never accept undisclosed kickbacks. How the real-estate model works →
FAQ
Do you do this remotely or in person?
Both. The scouting tour and landing week are on-the-ground in China. Discovery, intake, planning, and weekly check-ins happen remotely. You and your parent can join the scouting tour or stay home, your call.
What if my parent is fragile or has dementia risk?
We have done it, and we are honest about when it is too late. If the parent cannot independently travel or remember new routines, the plan needs a permanent live-in helper and a family member nearby. We will tell you if we think it is unsafe.
Can you help if my parent already has property in China?
Yes. Existing property changes the visa picture and the housing decision, and often makes the move easier. Bring the deed and we will work backwards from it.
Can you help with the return move if it does not work out?
Yes. The exit plan is built into the relocation from day one. If circumstances change, we run the reverse logistics, apartment, accounts, paperwork, shipping.
How is this different from a Feasibility Report?
The Report ($49–$99) is a tailored vision document delivered after a consultant interview. It tells you what is possible. The Relocation service ($ bespoke) executes the plan once the family is decided.
Before you book a discovery call
You will get more from the call if at least one parent has already said "I would consider this." If the family is still arguing about whether the idea is reasonable, start with the Feasibility Report or the wiki and come back when the conversation has shifted.
